KIT RECEIVED WILL BE THE CHEVROLET KIT PLUS AN ADDITIONAL BRACKET (GENUINE PPE) TO FIT THE GMC - VERY LIMITED STOCK  -  GMC VARIATION - IF YOU HAVE A CHEVROLET, please verify part number needed. The 3.0 Duramax Diesel is designed to route the crankcase vapors back into the intake to be burned rather than venting to the atmosphere. In doing so, the oil and water vapor actually builds up in the charge air cooler as well as makes it way into the intake then into the cylinders then into the exhaust.

This catch can will capture these oil and water vapors allowing you to drain them out at your oil change intervals and keep them out of your intake and exhaust.
